I do my best to remember what I can about scripture, Biblical history and lessons that the Lord has taught me throughout my life but I'm horrible at remembering dates and times of events (amongst a plethora of other things). Needless to say, I rely on technology to help me out with my forgetfulness.

Today, I was fortunate enough to have a friend of mine remind me about the Littlest Lamb Orphanage Outreach Fundraising event at Casa La Femme in New York tonight. The event was on my "Facebook Events Calendar" but not on my Google Calendar or my iPhone Calendar (the ones I use most). And, since I've been logging on to Facebook less and less because Twitter is slowly taking over (more on Twitter in another post), it completely slipped my mind.

So, in an effort to avoid this unfavorable situation in the future, I ran a quick Google Search for "Facebook Google Calendar Sync" and came accross the Facebook Application, fbCal. Exactly what I was looking for!

This app will create an iCal event feed for your Facebook Events that can sync into your Google Calendar or any other calendar application that accepts iCal or RSS calendar feed types. Awesome!

Now, off to the mall to buy a last minute shirt during lunch for tonight!
